At Villa Stella Corfu, we understand that plans can change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling or modifying your reservation. We encourage you to review this policy carefully before making a booking.

2. Standard Cancellation Terms

Deposit (30%) is forfeited, remaining balance refunded

No refund - 100% of booking amount is charged

3. How to Cancel

To cancel your reservation:

  • Contact us immediately via email at info@villastellacorfu.com
  • Or call us at +30 6948 203 745
  • Provide your booking reference number and guest name
  • Cancellation is effective from the date we receive your written notice
  • You will receive a cancellation confirmation email within 24 hours

4. Modification Policy

If you need to modify your reservation (change dates, accommodation type, or number of guests):

  • Modifications are subject to availability
  • No fees for date changes made 30+ days before arrival
  • Date changes within 30 days may incur a €50 administrative fee
  • Price differences may apply for different dates or accommodation types
  • Reducing the number of guests does not affect the booking price

5. No-Show Policy

If you fail to arrive on your scheduled check-in date without prior cancellation notice ("no-show"), the full booking amount will be charged with no refund provided.

6. Early Departure

If you choose to check out earlier than your scheduled departure date, no refund will be provided for the unused nights. We recommend considering travel insurance to cover such situations.

7. Cancellation by Villa Stella

We reserve the right to cancel a booking if:

  • The property becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances
  • Force majeure events occur (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions)
  • Guest provides false or fraudulent information

In such cases, we will provide a full refund of all payments made or offer alternative accommodation of equal or higher standard. We are not liable for any additional expenses incurred.

8. Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method
  • Processing time: 7-14 business days after cancellation confirmation
  • Bank processing times may vary
  • Payment processing fees (typically 3-5%) are non-refundable
  • Currency conversion fees may apply for international transactions

9. Travel Insurance Recommendation

Important: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to protect your booking against unforeseen circumstances such as illness, injury, flight cancellations, or other emergencies. Travel insurance can cover cancellation costs that fall outside our refund policy.

10. Special Circumstances

We understand that exceptional circumstances can arise. In cases of:

  • Medical emergencies (documentation required)
  • Death of immediate family member (documentation required)
  • Other extraordinary situations

Please contact us directly. We will review your situation on a case-by-case basis and may offer partial refunds or credits for future stays at our discretion.

11. Peak Season Policy

During peak season periods (July - August), stricter cancellation terms may apply:

  • Full payment required 60 days before arrival
  • Cancellations within 60 days: No refund
  • No modifications within 45 days of arrival

Peak season policies will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.

12. Disputes

If you have any concerns about cancellations or refunds, please contact us first. We are committed to resolving any issues amicably. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it will be subject to the laws of Greece and the jurisdiction of Corfu courts.
